My access request

My access request is the place to look for:

  • existing active access requests
  • inactive access requests – completed or withdrawn (see access request filter)
  • to change the status of the Access Request (author and principal)
  • to re-assign the Author (author and principal)
  • to download a student’s access request PDF
  • to check the progress of access requests (by hovering on the status)

Access request procedures

Access Request is used to apply for additional learning and support provisions for a student with significant or extensive disability, above what is available within school resources.

Your My Access Request Home Page tab has many resources and weblinks which will support you in developing access requests.

Your local Student support and specialist programs team can provide advice on:

  • additional adjustments that might be considered within the school
  • supports available externally to the school
  • specialist support classes in regular and special schools - availability and suitability
  • panel information, required documentation and information to support in completing the access request


Your local central integration funding support officer listed in the contact list can support you with access requests focused on integration funding support and summary profile levels.
